He (Richard) Zhao 赵赫

I am a 5th year PhD candidate of Advanced Materials Lab at Department of Mechanical Engineering at Northwestern University, advised by Professor L. Catherine Brinson. I received my B.S. degree in Aerospace Engineering from University of Notre Dame in 2012.

Work Experience

I'm currently a part-time software engineer (after a full-time summer internship) at SkinIO, a biotech startup that aims at early detection and prevention of skin cancer.

 

Research

In my PhD thesis research, I work on finite element modeling and application of data-driven methods on polymer nanocomposite materials.
